Dr. Kang is board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, specializing in sports medicine, trauma, and reconstructive surgeries of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Kang completed her surgical residency at Hoboken University Medical Center and extensively trained in foot and ankle trauma and deformities including reconstruction of the forefoot, rearoot, and ankle deformities. She received her doctorate of podiatric medicine from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Kang holds certifications from Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA), Comprehensive Internal Fixation/Reconstructive Surgery of the Foot and Ankle (AAFAO), and Extremity Fixation for Truma, Limb Deformity, and Foot & Ankle Reconstruction Surgery. She has published a scientific review for Managing Missed Lower-Extremity Compartment Syndrome in the Physiologically Stable Patient (ACFAS, 2017).
